Westgate Dental is a full-service, family-oriented dental practice serving the Weston, Davie, Sunrise, and Pembroke Pines areas since 1988. Led by Dr. Myriam Taveras, the practice provides comprehensive general and cosmetic dentistry — from cleanings and root canals to Invisalign, veneers, and teeth whitening — in a friendly, fully bilingual (English/Spanish) environment, welcoming dental emergencies and walk-ins during office hours.

Meet the founder
A graduate of Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine, Dr. Myriam Taveras earned her first dental degree at Universidad Central de Venezuela in 2002. After moving to Florida in 2004 she practiced dental hygiene for about five years before returning to dental school to pursue what she loves most. She brings high energy, a positive attitude, fluent English and Spanish, and a co-therapist approach focused on long-term dento-oral health.
